    Interesting presentation, although your point about offering discounts can be dangerous. Many shoppers are catching on to cart recovery incentive schemes, purposefully abandoning carts in order to receive a discount. Incentives may bring people back to the checkout, but they don’t always work to increase the total purchase value.
